BUILD POLITICAL POWER FOR NEVADA ACADEMIC WORKERS

In 2026, Graduate Assistants, Postdocs, and other academic workers have the power to win a more equitable and just future for all Nevadans. By working together across our campuses, we can play a pivotal role in electing pro-labor officials at the local, state, and federal level to:

• • • Stop cuts to federal research funding.
    • Secure greater protections for immigrants and international scholars.
    • Pass collective bargaining legislation for Graduate Assistants, Postdoctoral Scholars, and other NSHE employees, and more.

This year’s elections will determine policies that shape the working conditions and future for all of us. Everyone — regardless of voter eligibility — has the right to help educate voters and advocate for pro-labor candidates. It’s going to take all of us participating in the political process to elect champions who will fight for and alongside us.
